When I try to update my apple store, garage band, and other apps, the message pops up and says that the update is not available for this ID and it was purchased with a different ID. I never had different accounts or anything like that. It is very annoying that I cannot update a bunch of apps. What do I need to do?

I just deleted apps that could not update, I clicked and hold the icon and clicked “x” to delete them, and went to app store and downloaded them again. The notifications pops up saying that the app has been previously downloaded and just need the update or something like that. I clicked “OK”. That resolved my problem.

Check your purchases history to see if the apps are there and you have an option to accept them.
Have you tried signing out and back in?
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

What happens if you tap View in App Store.
I’ve tried to log out and back in and it didn’t work. When I go to history, there is no app store app or any other apps that are not able to update.
I tried that and it says that the app must be purchased in order for me to update it. I have in on my MacBook and can’t open or update it in App Store.
