I have an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) running the latest version of Mojave. System Preferences are showing that I have an update ready to install Catalina however, when I click 'update' I receive the following error.
Can anyone shed any light on this and provide a workaround?

Go to your Applications Folder and look for the macOS Catalina Installer. If one is there, move it to the Trash and Empty the Trash.
Then go to > macOS Catalina - Apple and click Upgrade now.
My guess is the installer is damaged, please look in the Applications folder and locate it and then drag it to the Trash and empty the Trash. Next, re-download and install.
