Bootcamp requiring USB

Hi,

I'm trying to install Win10 via bootcamp assistant on Catalina 10.15. All of the tutorials I am seeing show the ability to just directly choose the ISO to install from, however when I try to follow the same steps, it is requiring that I use an external USB.

From what I can see, I should meet the hardware requirements to not need a USB for this installation process. I have a USB drive but it appears to be big enough only for Win10, but not the "Windows support software". Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Disregard. I didn't pay close enough attention to the requirements. Not only does it require a specific OS and Model, but YEAR as well. I apparently missed the cutoff year for that functionality. I don't see any option to delete questions/mark as resolved for this forum.
