Is anybody else experiencing faults recently with the iPhone 7 Plus microphones?
The sound won’t work on videos taken on both front and back camera. I can’t take voice recordings and Siri won’t respond. Furthermore when I take calls or phone someone I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me. Any advice?

Have you restarted your iPhone since noticing this happening? If not, go ahead and restart, as it can resolve unusual issues.
If you have a case on your iPhone, remove it and test if that was the issue.

I’ve got the same problem. Is your speaker button during calls greyed out too? I took the phone into be assessed today and apparently it’s called audio ic (integrated circuit) defect. It’s a known problem with IPhone 7 and 7 plus phones that worsens as they age. Apple aren’t recognising the issue (soldering that disintegrates) so there’s a class action suit in the courts currently. The cost to fix is sobhigh so I can’t justify that, but can’t afford a new phone and my phone isn’t able to make calls.
