Since updating to Catalina on my MacBook Pro yesterday, Messages is not syncing properly. It syncs with my iPad but not my iPhone. Messages to my wife's MacBook Air (not updated yet) and her iPad are sporadic. Prior to update, all worked fine.

First, take a look at the steps in this article: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac. Check all the settings on your devices to ensure they are set up to sync messages.
Also, if you're using Messages in iCloud, use this article to check your settings: Keep all your messages in iCloud.
You may also want to restart all of your devices.

MoonJ, thank you for your help. I followed the link and now all three seem to be working together again. What is strange is that all was working fine thru last Sunday, Nov. 10. For some reason on Monday, my phone somehow got isolated from the other two. Thanks for your help.
