Apple Arcade games won't load on Mac

Ok, no problem I can you explain the steps:

1) Open terminal, you can find it in the "Launchpad". Here is a video of how to open it -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QROX039ckO8

2) Type the following into the terminal sudo rm "/var/db/fpsd/SC Info/SC Info.sido" and press "Enter"

3) Type your login password and press "Enter"

With these steps I fixed the problem for me

Hello, I have solved it by executing this terminal command (macOS Mojave) -> sudo rm "/var/db/fpsd/SC Info/SC Info.sido"

I'd reach out to Apple Support over this. It might be something peculiar to your account that is stuck. Apple Arcade is working fine here across a Mac, iPad, iPhone and two Apple TVs.

I’m assuming it’s something to do with my account (maybe having different iCloud/App Store accounts?) so I’ve already got in touch with support about it. Looking on here and also on Reddit etc it looks like there are a fair few people also having similar issues.

Since it seemed to happen after a point update I’m sure it’ll be fixed in the same way!

I'm having exactly the same issue - I've tried logging out of my accounts (App Store/iCloud) and back in, but this hasn't helped either!

Oddly enough things were working find when Arcade was first released, but I'm assuming something has changed with a recent point update.

If anyone manages to find out how to fix this I'd really appreciate it.

Did you manage to get this resolved? I've just come to open a game and it's done the same to me, but oddly not with every game. It wouldn't load Sociable Soccer or Outlanders (the two I tested, but there's probably more), but it would load Sayonara Wild Hearts.

That is more than I get. I double click the icon and it just bounces. I have reloaded several apps and they all do it. I sent an email requesting help on the 30th. I am still waiting to hear back from support.

this Fix worked for us a few weeks ago. However it has stopped. I have completed the same steps and It is not working.

I am finding Arcade unstable, we won’t be continuing post one month trial, as it’s frustrating it’s not easy to use on our iMac running Catalina. Was really looking forward to it, and it becoming an improved way to purchase game apps

Just to ease your mind, I've got exactly the same issue. Everything working fine on iPad Air 3 though . I've tried everything, even recovering my iMac with clean Catalina install !!!

I am have the same very frustrating issue. This only happens to games that I have downloaded yesterday. There are games that I have downloaded before that work fine.
