Trouble Importing Photos from iPhone 7 to Lenovo computer

I'm trying to import my photos from my iPhone 7 to my Lenovo computer. My photos app says it found all the photos, but after saying so it freezes up and crashes.

I had an issue with space on my last computer so it's been a while since I last imported my photos and I have a lot. Is it a problem of space?
