Move/Copy mailboxes to a mail server
Move/Copy mailboxes to a mail server doesn't work it stay 'On My Mac' How to do this as described in the manual? Running High Sierra.

Who is the eMail provider?
First you would copy them to Inbox, Sent, etc. & make sure they we uploaded to the server before deleting them On My Mac.
Needs to be IMAP account also?
