Can't Import Pictures to Windows 10

I can't import pictures and movies from my iPhone X iOS 13.2.2 to my Windows 10 PC (Latest Update). When I attempt to import via the Photos software on my Windows 10 PC it always says an unexpected error has occurred. If I try to import using the "right click" and import photos I can get them over using the "Keep Originals" setting, but them all my movies are unreadable. If I set it to "automatic" the import never completes. Does anyone have any suggestions or alternatives software for the import as it seems like neither Apple nor Microsoft can handle it at this point.
