Being held hostage by Apple. They have no solution. It's been more than 4 weeks.

Using Windows 10. Outlook 365.

Unable to backup. No error. iTunes says Your iPhone has never backed up to this computer.

Unable to sync with Outlook (on computer, not online) contacts and Calendar manually, I do not use iCloud.

Syncing starts..goes through contacts successfully and stalls on calendar unable to complete.

Reinstalled/Updated iTunes, iPhone, Outlook.

Never had a problem until this phone.

I cannot use iCloud as I have too much quantity to back up. Additionally, I have never had success with it working correctly and it has deleted and ruined my calendar, even when using apple and ms support at the same time. I'll try the old fashioned installer and see how that goes.

Can't, or won't? See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - Apple Community. You can try a tear down and rebuild. If you're running Windows 10 use the old fashioned installer instead of the Microsoft Store. That might resolve things for you. Otherwise a backup and restore cycle using iCloud might be another way to clean out whatever item the iTunes backup is choking on, assuming that an iCloud backup completes of course. If it is simply a matter of space then temporarily paying for a little more might be worthwhile.
