Turn off all effects when sending text messages

I cannot send text messages to other iPhone users without using an effect. When I initiate a text message before typing there is an audio option. Once I type, there is the blue arrow. Whether I tap or hold the blue arrow, it always takes me to an effects selection screen. If I "x" out of the screen and try to tap the send arrow again, it takes me right back to the effects screen. I cannot send a text to another iPhone user unless I select an effect. I have tried going to Accessibility and making sure the Reduce Motion option is on. The only way I can send a text without an effect is by using "Hey Siri". Any solutions out there?

The text effects should only come on when you press and hold the blue arrow up button. Tapping the button should send the iMessage normally. See this for additional instructions. Use message effects with iMessage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If you continue to have difficulties, then try power cycling your iPhone off/on, and see if that helps.
