can you drag handwritten notes written in ’Notes’ on ipad air, into apple Pages? - there must be a way to convert handwritten notes to text using just what is available on the iPad Air 2019...surely?

I would have thought that using Pages, Apples own product, would have accommodated this extremely useful and necessary function??

zmclearan is correct.

This functionality is NOT possible with any of the native, iOS default apps.

There are paid, third party apps that can easily accomplish this, so you can bring the converted text back into the Pages.
