My old iPhone 4 does not recognize my new applied. How am I able to get into my account.

My old iPhone 4 does not recognize my appleid. Some time ago I deleted it from my appleid. How do I put it back on my account?

if you are the original owner, take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.

What happens when you try to sign in? Have you signed out of the old ID? Error message(s)? More information would help.

I cannot log in with an old appleid because I don’t remember it. I don’ Know if I signed out with the old ID either. This has been going on for a few years now. I called Apple Support and they can’t help me. I’m stuck. Is there a way to clear this phone and start over?
