my phone's home button suddenly stopped working.
finger print still works fine. if i swipe the home button left, right, up and down it also works the only thing that stopped working is when i press the button. my phone did not get wet and i also havent dropped it, it just stopped working like minutes ago.

It could be a hardware failure, but we can't diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.
Have your device inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider:--> Apple – Location Selector
After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
