The sounds you recorded with the Apple Watch were not found on the iPhone
Apple Watch Series 5, watchOS 6
But as long as the two are within BT range, the watch memos should eventually transfer to the phone.

Select the Voice Memos app.
Choose Tap to Record.
Record your message.
Tap the End button when you're finished recording.
Your saved Voice Memo will appear at the top of your list on your WATCH not on the phone.
