Disney Plus on 3rd gen ATV

Does Disney plus work on 3rd gen Apple TV? My daughter is not seeing the app on the menu screen.

The 3rd gen doesn't run apps, just preset 'channels' sent via server. Disney have only released an app, not a server version, so it requires a 4th gen or 4K model.
