Disney plus not showing up on my Apple TV

I have a generation 3 Apple TV and I’m having a hard time finding Disney Plus

Although the prior Apple TV doesn’t have an App Store, it has over time life’s plenty of apps through software updates into the Apple TV, many of whichever subscription based... like Hulu, HBO Go, and plenty of other clutter that I have 0 interest in. So why not Disney+? Seems they would just have to add supported apps like they always did before automatically.

The 3rd gen has never supported apps. It pushes content via server and they are based on basic web templates. While that model was being sold it had a number of those pushed to the device, however once it was discontinued there was only one (Amazon) who decided to create a server version alongside the app created for the current models. New services, like Disney + would be unlikely to support the now over 7 year old hardware (and rapidly decreasing user base), and many of those existing providers have since started to drop support. Likewise, devices like Roku that were released around the same time are also not supported.
