Time machine only show the backups for the last 24h, nothing later than that.

The time machine has been backing up every day, but I cannot see backups later than 24h (no day and weeks). The Backup disc has 1.2 TB of space left. How do I fix this and see backups of more than 24h?

There are a few possibilities here:

1) Time Machine detected that your Time Machine backups were corrupted, so it erased all of the old backups and started a new backup on the 24th.

Usually.....but not always.....Time Machine will display a message like the example below when it detects that your backups have become corrupted.

2) Another possibility is that you might have "upgraded" your Mac to the Catalina operating system. If that is the case, we have seen a number of reports of "lost" backups from Catalina users. So far, there is no solution to the issue of "lost" backups.

Since Time Machine has not been all that reliable for the past few years, we would recommend that you consider adding another backup plan by using an applications like Carbon Copy Cloner.
