apple tv choppy

Starting this afternoon my Apple TV, non 4k has become choppy, pixelated and lip sync issues. Only thing that changed today was I added Disney plus. This happens on D+, att tv, netflix, movies anywhere etc. tested my speeds, ping and jitter and all is normal. Rebooted, unplugged, etc. annoying. Works fine on my 4k devices and phone. Just not the non 4k 4th gen model.

apple tv update- freezing/buffering issues Since the last update to apple tv (Nov of this year) both of my apple tv boxes (latest gen) now freeze, buffer, and have intermittent black screens (usually momentary, but sometimes for up to 20 sec). ISP, router and settings are unchanged; speedtest.net and fast.com show solid performance above 10mbps at all times. Other devices on the same network are not experiencing any issues or problems, incl two other set top devices (roku). TV settings are also unchanged. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Apple TV 4K requiring restarts every 1-2 hours or else starts freezing video playbacks Ever since upgrade to 14, my Apple TV 4K requiring restarts every 1-2 hours or else starts randomly freezing video playbacks. This is across all apps - HBO Max, Netflix, YouTube, and Peacock Internet is clocking 150MBS download speeds and everything else is working fine. What can I do fix this? It is pretty annoying.

The issue may be in your home network (e.g. Wi-Fi), or how Apple TV connects to that.
