You can also download a free application called Go64 which scans your Mac for all 32 bit applications. It will provide a way to upgrade to the 64-bit version. There is also an option to delete the 32-bit app as well if you don't use the particular application often.

Generally, go into Applications and delete it. You can also do this via Launchpad if you like
