I did not see Apple TV plus icon in my tv screen . Should not be there Apple TV logo when I subscribe to Apple TV plus? I bought a new Apple Tv and subscribed 1 year free Apple TV subscription
Was it purchased from Apple or an authorized reseller? If it was refurbished then it would need to be direct from Apple as other sellers and open box items would not qualify. Also, if you had subscribed prior to purchasing a device you would not be able to use this offer.

Is your TV (HD or 4K) updated to tvOS 13?
The Apple TV+ service is accessible through the Apple TV app. It is not a separate icon on the Home Screen.

the tv app on home screen can stream form the new tv+ service.
