if i want to watch netflix - simple, open the app and all there?
same with Prime.
apple tv plus is a different kettle of fish - all content is mixed in with all other shows from different providers ?
i dont get it - or am i missing something?
why has Apple made it so confusing to find whats on ?

Apple wanted to make the Apple TV app like a hub for content from every content provider that is willing to participate. That’s why it is all mixed.
Yes,understand what they are aiming for , but still at a loss to understand how you find all content ( for Apple TV plus ) .
mixing it in as they have done is simply frustrating - when Apple is usually the complete opposite.

not being smart , but read the question.
You have to look in the Watch now Tab, scroll down and look for the Apple TV+. The shows will have the tv+ logo on them.
You can ask Siri to play anything from Apple TV+.
You can use Search to play anything from Apple TV+, both through the Search app and through the Search tab in the TV app.
You can browse Apple TV+ content in the Apple TV app, by going to Watch Now, then scrolling to the circular icon for Apple TV+ channel.
Apple TV+ is a channel / streaming service within the Apple TV app.
