Mac Pro keyboard not working

I have a 13" Macbook Pro which was working fine all day. I got home and opened my computer to start work, but the keyboard wasn't responsive and wouldn't let me type my password in. About half an hour later, it started working again and I got into my computer, but a few minutes after that it stopped again. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

if its not more than a year since you purchased your laptop take it to an Apple store and let them know about the issue.
