Does Apple Limited Warranty cover display damage?

Does Apple Limited Warranty cover display damage? My screen cracked on iPhone X... It was recently replaced by Apple because of malfunctioning.

I have 1 month left warranty.

Only if it was caused by a manufacturing defect. A warranty isn't an insurance policy.
