XS Max model number
I am looking to buy a iPhone CS Max from an individual that claims you can tell if it’s unlo by model number. The model number is MT5D2LL/A Can you tell me if this is true?

The model number will only tell which model phone you have. It cannot tell you if it is carrier locked or unlocked or if it is stolen or not. If you do purchase a phone from someone, make sure it is not activation locked before you give them any money.
