Cannot install MacOS Mojave using the App Store Link in this article

Error message: "This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS."

MacBook Pro 15", OS X 10.11

As the Author of this thread, you may need to delete the failed download

and try anew; perhaps try Safe mode startup, to see if there is some glitch?

As part of troubleshooting you may also consider using macOS Recovery

& look into tools within that separate startup system to check/repair HDD.

Was the link within the macOS Mojave page online and hidden

so you had to click on other words to get it?

I see one within here:

Or was yours from a different link?

There were more than one; some are depreciated or only go to Catalina now.
