Photos/FCPX/Catalina

I just upgraded to Catalina and now import Photos inside of FCPX is only showing Albums and My Albums, not all photos. Also does not show a new photo added to an Album. So FCPX is no longer syncing with Photos. Ideas?

Yes, I see My Albums.

However, it only contains what the Photos App calls Albums. The Media Types can be seen within FCP X along with My Albums:

The All section within FCP X is greyed out and will not operate.

A works around is to copy/paste all my images from the Photos section into an Album I create in My Albums:

Copy/Paste is only a workaround as it looses the ability to dynamically update when new stuff is added to Photos. Previous versions would update automatically and could be seen within FCP X with no user intervention.

I will double check my squeaky clean Catalina install as well.

Last time I was using it, the same behaviour was noted.

For clarity here is another screen shot:

I copy all images etc. in the section marked Photos.

Then paste into Albums>FCP X Album. FCP X Album is manually created.

The red box indicates the only things that FCP X can recognise.

in previous FCP X versions the Photos section would appear within FCP X automatically.

Seems to me an internal link is not working as it did.
