VIRUS ??!

I've had my Mac for a few years now. Randomly started getting pop ups when I started up my Mac such as, Similar Photo Cleaner. I think it is a virus but I am not sure? It's been this way for about 2 months now - but my Mac is starting to slow down a bit. I also came across an application called Mac-Auto-Fixer and Booking... looking for answers please please please.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

You are not encountering a virus - it is simply adware/malware. They pay some sites to be able to pop up on your screen. Do not install any so called "cleaners", it will cause havoc on your Mac. I would recommend that you download and run Malwarebytes for Mac - developed by a long time contributor here and totally safe to run.
