I have "downloaded" catalina, but the installer won't open
iMac 27" 5K, macOS 10.13
The installer is about 8GB and should be in
/Applications/Install macOS Catalina
Are you sure it downloaded completely?
Select it, and press command-I. Note the name and file size.
