External MIDI Track volume resets to 0 on playback when no CC data is present

I have multiple external synths connected to Logic via an iConnectivity mio10. When I playback an external MIDI track the track volume resets to 0 if there is no CC 7 data present on the track (This only happens with the synths that send and read CC 7). Is there a way to get this track's volume to remain where its fader is set and ignore or eliminate this reset message?

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?
