iMessage and audio attachments, iOS v13.2.2
Hi there,
lately it seems that I am unable to save audio messages from iMessage to my local device.
the old way (the good way) was to save the file and it would end-up in the voice memos app list, this has changed quite a while ago.
The alleged “new way” is to drill into the info of the sender of said audio attachment to locate saved files.
This doesn’t work.
I can’t find these files anywhere, does anyone know what’s going on in iOS 13.2.2?
further to this, and related, if you make an audio attachment within iMessage the result is exactly the same when trying to save it.
And then further still, if you make an audio file in iMessage, send it, then want to copy it and paste it into another conversation, it will send however the object doesn’t show in the senders feed.
this is insane to me, any help would be much appreciated! (Don’t even get me started on the texted editing “improvements” Apple has made in iOS 13)
iOS is becoming an undesirable ecosystem full of poorly implemented features.
I’d rather a small list of things that Apple is great at than a long list of things they aren’t good at.
Thanks,
will...
