I keep getting error to update Safari but my software is up to date

I keep getting messages to update Safari. I’m up to date on iOS updates. What do I do to update Safari? I’ve tried clicking on the message where it says to update but that doesn’t work.

iPhone XS Max, iOS 13

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Shegirl66!

I understand you're being asked to update Safari. I'd be happy to provide information on what you can do next.

It looks like you're using Safari on iOS. The only way to update Safari there would be to update to the latest version of iOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're already up-to-date, please let us know what site is prompting you to update.
