Try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. Despite the title the same steps should help with a classic. If you're running Windows 10 and installed iTunes from the Microsoft Store then it may be expected not to have the iPodService.

Yes, my iPhone is seen no problem. I found I do not had ipodservice.exe on my PC. Shouldn’t I have that? How to get it?
