I’ve been looking around and all they say is “There should be a Monkey face icon in a bar above the keyboard in messages” but my iPad Air 2 on the latest iPadOS doesn’t have it. Can someone help me please as my friend uses an older iPad and can see the icon and make Memoji’s.
iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi
An iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 cannot use any Memojis or Animojis nor Memoji or Animoji stickers.
Actual Memojis and Animojis only work with Face ID capable camera hardware which a 5-year old iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 definitely lack!
The Memoji and Animoji stickers features need a newer iPad with an A9 processor, or better.
An iPad Air 2 ONLY has an A8X processor and an iPad Mini 4 only has an A8 processor.
These iPad models are NOT powerful enough nor have the necessary hardware to use ANY Memoji or Animoji features.
