bootcamp slow internet speed

I had the very same problem and I found a fix. Hope it works for you.

1- Go to Windows

2- Go to start and find Device Manager

3- Look for Network adapters

4- double click Broadcom 802

5- Go to Driver which is on top

6- Go to Roll Back driver (previous driver)

7- It may ask you at this point why you are rolling it back

8- That is it!

9- Let me know if it worked for anyone

Do you have a dual-band wireless network? If yes, try to separate the two bands into separate SSIDs and test with each SSID.

• Do you have a dual-band WiFi?
• What is the year/model of your Mac (do not post the serial number)?

Please check the WiFi driver version. Also, dual-band networks can cause some issues.

On the 2019 16-in rMBP, there is no previous version to roll back to. The 7.77.x.x series driver can be rolled back, but the 100.x.x.x series cannot.

I too am experiencing extremely slow Wi-Fi on the Windows 10 side at anywhere from 1-3 Mbps. macOS side works fine at over 100 Mbps.

Hi Loner T, I'm having this same problem with Windows 10 with bootcamp. On my mac side I get about 250mbps download speed and on windows I get 0.7mbps or so. I have a iMac retina 5k 27 inch 2017.

Yes, they both connect. In Windows 10, the 2.4GHz gets around 1-3 Mbps down and 5GHz hovers around .75-1 Mbps down.
