Apple TV and TV+

Does anyone know why i cannot access Apple TV on my Apple TV Gen 2?

It only shows options for rental purchases.

I am signed as myself but the wife is the organiser on family sharing.

I am signed up to TV+ via Family sharing and can access it on my other devices,

Apple TV+ is not available on an Apple TV 2. It requires a 3, 4th or 4K Apple TV.
