I can't upload photos from my iPhone XR to my worksite webpage because they're too "large" in some way - the uploader just times out. Photos from my old iPhone SE are no problem. The user manual says the iPhone can compress photos "if necessary". Does anyone know how? Or is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

Compressing photos is to save space on the phone. Sync them to your computer through iCloud; you can then resize them in a photos app. See: Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
I'm not sure it's the physical size of the photos, but rather the denser pixels, or something like that. The newer camera does all kinds of things to photos that I don't understand. Are the photos larger in dimension because the phone is larger? I'll try reducing the dimensions & see if that works. I guess it could be that simple - thanks!
