Why does my switch control automatically turn off after 1 round of tapping? It wont stay on. I have an ihpone 8

i have set up a switch on my iphone to autotap. I got it running, but it turns off

after 1 cycle. And my iphone shows that autoswitch is turned off even though I didnt turn it off. How do I get it to stay on? Iphone 8+

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.


From what I've read is that your Switch Control keeps turning off even though you don't turn it off. I'd like to help. Check out this article, there is another way to turn this feature off without going into Settings: Use Switch Control to navigate your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


"You can also triple-click the Home button or the Side button on certain models at any time to exit Switch Control". If this isn't the case, restart your iPhone. Sometimes a restart can help resolve issues.
