iTunes on Debian Linux

Hello,

I know there are lots of posts concerning this topic, but w/o the information I'm looking for. I prefer to do esp. major upgrades of iOS on my iDevices via iTunes.

Based on the fact that Win7 will be out of support from beginning of 2020 on and based on the fact that my PC (I do not scrap!) is not able to run Win10, I decided some months ago to switch over to Debian9 and then 10 Linux. I installed Debian/ Mate-Desktop, I installed wine and I installed iTunes via wine. The only result I get is a black screen.

Is anybody out there who was able to get iTunes running on the described configuration. Any information is highly appreciated.

THX in advance.
