iPad's Files app not showing connected flash drive

I attached one of my SanDisk flash drives, which works fine on my MacBook Pro, to my 9.7" iPad 6th generation running iPad OS 13 (latest version). My flash drive is connected to my iPad via a Mophie Mini external battery, which is fully charged, and an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter.

I have tested the Camera Adapter separately and it works fine.

The problem is that on my iPad the Files app is not showing the flash drive.

I have checked all the connections and they seem fine.

Anyone have any ideas about what I need to do get my flash drive to appear on the Files app?

MichelPM,

When I connected the Lightning to USB-C camera adapter to my iPad's power adapter, which was plugged into a power outlet on my wall, it worked.

Previously, I had also tried to get it to work with an Anker PowerCore 10400, and that did not work either.

Any idea which commonly used power bank might work with it?

Maybe the mophie power bank isn't powerful enough.

Try connecting power to the Lightning to USB-C camera adapter using your charge cable and the Apple power/charge block plugged into a power main.

There are portable, rechargeable power bank makers that offer much more powerful power banks.

The Mophie one you have may simply NOT be powerful enough.
