missing send button in reply or forward window

Thanks for getting back to us with that information, hal150. Since the button isn't available when customizing the toolbar, I have some steps for you to try.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac -- Restart your Mac in safe mode and see if the Send button appears in the toolbar if you create a new email. If it works while in safe mode, reboot normally and test again in your own user account. If not, continue to "How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac" below. 

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac -- If the issue is also happening in safe mode, use this article to create and test a new administrative user account. This will demonstrate if the issue is isolated to your account, or if it's system wide. You'll need to set up an email account in order to test.

I see that you're not finding the Send button the toolbar of the Mail application on your Mac, and I'm glad to help

Customize toolbars on Mac -- The Send button is only available when you're writing, replying to, or forwarding an email. If you're not seeing the Send button when writing/replying/forwarding, you can edit the toolbar of to include it again.
