Catalina: best place to move Documents folder following "relocated items" change?

Hello everyone,

Sorry if my question is not clearly worded. Before updating to Catalina, the file path for my documents was:

> Macintosh HD SDD

> Documents

Now it's quite convoluted:

> Macintosh HD SDD

> Users

> Shared

> Relocated items

> Security

> Documents

This file path is way too long.

Apparently, I can no longer put my "Documents" folder where it used to be. I'd be grateful for any recommendations as to the best place to put it that combines ease of use and security / compatibility with Catalina.
