Airpods Pro keep falling out of my ears!

I just got Airpods Pro and they will not stay in my ears for more than a minute or so. I feel them start creeping and I know I have only a second or two before they seem to jump out of my ear as if they were being repelled or something. I have tried every size tip and they all do the same thing. I never had any problems with my old Airpods so this is strange to me. If I don't find a fix I'm going to have to return them as they are basically unusable. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

This is an excellent idea. Here’s what I just posted:

”250 dollars. That’s what I payed for these. You’re telling me that 250 dollars doesn’t get me earbuds that stay in my ears? That’s outrageous. If I move my mouth at all they get pushed out of my ears. Even if I don’t they make their way out anyway. This is what sets Apple apart from other brands. This doesn’t happen with Apple products. How did this slip through the testing?

My suggestion is that you redesign the tips with a different shape or as foam so they stay in your ears. Then offer that for free to everyone who bought airpods pro, and have it included with the standard version.

People expect a level of quality assurance from Apple and this is ruining that. Before this I could buy any Apple product and be sure it would work as expected. Not anymore.

FIX THIS”

I have tried every conceivable combination of tips and at some point the ear pod falls out of my ear. Recently one fell down the crack of an elevator shaft. Remarkably, it was retrieved. I’ve decided to return the AirPods and wait for Apple to hopefully find a solution. It’s very disappointing. The sound is so much better than the original AirPods.

The stems are for talking, if the stems are facing upward can the ppl you’re talking to hear you? I bought the Pro’s and had same issue with them falling out so I returned them but cannot find any other wireless earbuds that lets you use the right or left independently of the other like these do. I can’t believe Apple is the only product that has that option.

Me too! I wear normal airpods 10+ hours a day since the day they launched. I was excited for the new ones, the noise cancelling was awesome, sound quality awesome. Couldn't make it half an hour without them getting loose and falling out from talking / breathing / eating. With any of the tips, and no matter how uncomfortably I could stuff them in my ears. Terrible design flaw, it's like the weight is in the wrong place. I have zero problems with normal Airpods. They never fall out, I can wear them while riding my mountain bike.

Maybe next time test these on a broad variety of people Apple...

This is my problem as well. I have been wearing them since Christmas with zero problems. All of a sudden my right one stopped staying in my ear. I ordered new tips and they didn’t help at all.

I had a man ask me on a plane last week if this was a problem after it fell out twice in five minutes rolling down the aisle. It’s a really poor sales pitch for Apple.

Judging from the number of people having problems with the Airpods Pro; this is an issue Apple should address. Mine won't stay in no matter what size ear cup I use, and I have tried them all. I ordered aftermarket silicone sleeves and cups which seem to help a little. But the bottom line is if you move, chew gum, yawn, walk around (never mind exercise), or do anything that moves your ear in any way, they pop out. I have had them pop out just sitting still and watching YouTube. There seems to be no way to be sure they will stay in the ear. I will only use them at home where I can retrieve them easily. When travelling I use my Bose (no issues there, but they have the wire between the two of them).

Class action seems pretty ridiculous. They are headphones. They don’t fit in our ears. I noticed immediately and returned mine, why would you keep them long enough to not be able to return them with the same problems ? Even if you did keep them for months, you can get rid of them on eBay for nearly retail. There’s a thousand other options on the market.

I have the same issue here. My old AirPods didn’t have noise cancellation and the sound wasn’t as good as the AirPods Pro, but they stayed put. Apple definitely needs to fix this issue ASAP! I have tried every size, every position and all of the sound tests, nothing works, they fall out. Apple needs to send all of the people that purchased these $250 a free upgrade.

I bought a pair of pro’s 1/24, they of course kept falling out so I returned them before the 15 days. I tried two other brand wireless earbuds in between that time and hated them. I found these ear wedge things on Amazon for the Pro’s so I decided to order them and re-order a set of Pro’s to try with these wedges, boy I hope they work. I think if Apple would come out with a longer tip for these current AirPod Pro’s maybe out of memory foam so they can expand in the ear and then modify a new case to fit the new tips (if needed) and send everyone with Pro’s a new charging case would be great and would keep their customers happy. A small price to pay to keep your Apple community happy, don’t you think Apple execs and engineers????

I just ordered a pair of AirPod hooks on Amazon to see if that helps. Your wasting your breath and energy on Apple. They fix everything after they get enough complaints but they never compensate you. You have to purchase the new and improved upgrades when they come out and then your device or AirPods are worth 1/3 less. Apple takes their customers for granted and we just keep coming back for more. It’s not going to change.

I bought these a month ago with no doubt that it is an apple product! Nothing can go wrong with it! But I am sorry to see such a failure, l will no longer suggest it to everyone.

I was having a phone interview and just like my old AirPods I used the new one, guess what? Left one jumped out and the voice was disconnected, I was hearing the other party was saying sorry I lost your voice, what happened? Such an embarrassment! Just at the beginning of your interview. I hate them.

Had the same problem, never had this issue with the original AirPods, needless to say I was quite annoyed as it really detracted from the so called “upgrade”. I just bought some after market “ear tips” for $10.99 and they seem to stay in much better. Shame on Apple for this design flaw. Search “allbingo ear tips” on Amazon or go to this link if Apple allows me to share it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083Q5P59M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
