Airpods Pro keep falling out of my ears!

I just got Airpods Pro and they will not stay in my ears for more than a minute or so. I feel them start creeping and I know I have only a second or two before they seem to jump out of my ear as if they were being repelled or something. I have tried every size tip and they all do the same thing. I never had any problems with my old Airpods so this is strange to me. If I don't find a fix I'm going to have to return them as they are basically unusable. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I was having the same problem and started searching for solutions because I’m outside of my window to return my AirPods Pro. I found a suggestion to wear them upside down, at about the 2:00 position. I tried it and it immediately worked. I did a seal test and it had a seal. Didn’t fall out. I made a call on the phone and on FaceTime and was heard perfectly. It does look silly, but they didn’t fall out. Here’s a photo for reference.

Oddly, just when I thought I would have to send my iPod Pros back, I tried using two different sizes of ear tips, a small and a medium. Even if the "Fit Test" says one side is a weak seal, I hear fine and the bud stays in. I just tried it hanging upside down on my inversion table, flexed my facial muscles, moved around a lot- they stay in now.

Hi I also have similar problem, the the airpods just come out all the time.

I almost lost one and all the time knocking on flour and people my step on it.

It is likely that I will lost my money very quick on my acquisition of the airpod pro.

I thought to pay for an insurance giving that I perceive the risk very high of accidental damage or loss.

Also, I brought the ipods from my phone company which adviced me that they will not refund my mind if I want to return the product.

Would Apple refund me for the product acquired from the phone company?

Also, is there an insurance that cover this risks assossiated with the ipods being damaged or lost from the pushed away from my ears?

Thanks for your assistance

The Airpods Pro have excellent sound quality. However, like most users here, they don't stay in my ears, especially the right one. It even fell into the drain while I was jogging. I am ever so scared when I run near puddles or deep drains. When I called APPLE to inform them about the bad design of the ear tips, they sent me a replacement set which we all know has inherent problems.

A user here commented on these - https://www.amazon.com/Foam-AirPods-Pro-Replacement-Masters/dp/B083SHJZWT/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=foam+ear+tips&qid=1603381719&sr=8-8

THEY WORK. I've been using them for a week and they stay in the ears during my jogs. For info, I got them in S (Apple size), black and they fit perfectly into the charging case. It's pointless to wage a battle with APPLE so if you are able to spare the $, pls go for the foam tips.

I lost my right AirPod Pro the first week I had them. I should never have tried to vacuum with them in, as they barely stayed in while I was at my computer. They would fall out at the slightest movement. I bought some plastic earhooks and have reordered an AirPod for 89 bucks. My suggestion is that if you have to have Apple Airpods you try them out and return them asap if they don't stay in. The earhooks and off brand tips I have tried with my remaining left AirPod Pro are okay, but I wish I would have returned the AirPods within the 30 day window as the off brand tips and earhooks aren't quite doing the job either. And yes, I did all of the fit testing.

Here is what worked for me, I went through the full range and tips and nothing kept them in my ear. What I found is that they don't fit the same way as normal earbuds that go in like earplugs. When I rotated the airpod counterclockwise (about 45 degrees) in my ear(for the right ear), I could feel the airpod tightened and snug down in my ear. The large bulbous part of the airpod then pushes the tip into the ear and then fits tightly. The end that sticks out is actually pointing forward. I found if you have the end that sticks out pointing straight down, they don't snug into the ear. These don't fit like what normal ear plugs do and I don't know if they are supposed to. Something to try. Mine feels snug and they don't fall out now.

I think Apple should be trying to find a remedy for all of us who own these Airpod Pros they cost too much to be loosing, one of mine fell out and right in the commode and it has automatic flush,, go figure another $90 to replace one. They do not stay in my ear no matter what I do. Apple should offer us a free upgrade and get rid of these. This is the worst product Apple has. I’m so over it and just think I own everything Apple.

This doesn’t work for me. Nothing does at this point. I’ve tried all the sizes multiple times. I clean them almost daily the AirPods that is. And of course I clean my ears daily. And I’ve done the ear fit test twice. This is definitely unfortunate because I just discovered Spatial Audio and I think it’s amazing especial on the iPhone 12 pro. I honestly never had a problem with the original AirPods falling out of my ear even during workouts. The only reason I bought the Pro is because I miss placed the original but I love the features I have now just wish I could get the full benefit.

The medium ear tips don’t seal correctly, I get one ear at “good seal” but the other one says adjust or use different tip. The mediums don’t get as good of a noise cancellation effect as the large tips, but I can’t use the large tips because they fall out every 2 seconds. I’m honestly at a loss. I do love them, but I’d definitely like to use the noise cancellation at 100% and not like 85%. With the larges i can’t hear a tv on like 15 to 20 volume in the same room. With the mediums I can hear it a little over faintly at the same volumes, same place in the room etc. the right one falls out with a large just as much as the left one “being large” the mediums are good and fit/ sit securely in my ear but I can’t get a “good seal” on the right one specifically. I don’t want to try the aftermarket memory foam tips because memory foam lets in more sound, and that’s not the point of these headphones obviously. I feel like I shouldn’t be having these problems being as I spent as much money as I did on these and all my apple products. 11 pro max, watch series 5, AirPod gen 2s, and AirPod pros.
