Airpods Pro keep falling out of my ears!

I just got Airpods Pro and they will not stay in my ears for more than a minute or so. I feel them start creeping and I know I have only a second or two before they seem to jump out of my ear as if they were being repelled or something. I have tried every size tip and they all do the same thing. I never had any problems with my old Airpods so this is strange to me. If I don't find a fix I'm going to have to return them as they are basically unusable. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I was having the same problem and started searching for solutions because I’m outside of my window to return my AirPods Pro. I found a suggestion to wear them upside down, at about the 2:00 position. I tried it and it immediately worked. I did a seal test and it had a seal. Didn’t fall out. I made a call on the phone and on FaceTime and was heard perfectly. It does look silly, but they didn’t fall out. Here’s a photo for reference.

I lost an AirPods Pro the first week I had them. They would fall out at the slightest turn of my head. Cost 89 bucks to replace. I bought elago AirPod Pro Ear Hooks at Amazon for 13 bucks. I bought red ones which look a little tacky, but I can do yard work and go on walks with out losing AirPods.

I also bought the elago AirPods Pro Earbud cover with tip. They are supposed to help keep the AirPod Pro in your ear without the ear hook, but I would rate them as a slight improvement without the ear hook, but still risky to move your head much. I now use the ear hook and cover with tip together. AirPods are supposed to last about two years. When I buy new EarPods, I’ll try a much cheaper brand.

PS. I tried all of the ‘fixes’ - push into ear, fit test, twist them at various angles, etc - Apple should let customers know before purchase that there is a strong likelihood that the Airpods won't fit, even with three sizes of tips. Just think - a tiny portion of customers take the time to complain and there are 48 pages of complaints so far.

Me too. They go in, pass the “Ear Tip Fit” test, but if I eat anything or move around much, they’re out. I’ve used foam earplugs for flying for years- they don’t fall out, but they are longer, go In farther and expand. I’m going to try memory foam, but I see many posts that they don’t work well and interfere with sound. I put my buds in when I opened this thread, read the previous comments, wrote this and I now feel them getting looser... I haven’t moved at all!! Why don’t they have a foam template you can use to get the right measurement in order to pick the right size and material? Yea, asking way too much.

I’ve same with AirPod Pros. Tried Amazon foam tips which are much better but only hold for about 5 minutes. Tried Amazon hook that attaches to stem and curls around ear but it’s too flimsy. Considering trashing these for headphones made for gym type activity. Nowhere does Apple say new AirPod Max $550 are intended for sports. I had Beats Pros with ear hook that stayed on great but lacked noise cancellation. AirPod Pro ANC is NOT great despite passing ear test.

I have the same problem! I love the sound quality but regardless of the tips I use, they fall out with in a few short minutes. I try pushing them in, twisting them to try to seat them in my ear, but nothing! I will be returning them but what about the case I bought and extra ear pieces? I am surprised that Apple R&D did not discover this as a flaw to be fixed before mass production? If anyone has a solution, that would be great!

It’s that little detail that upsets me why would Apple recommend a product like this and have you spend extra money for an accessory that should be included by them if you’re already spending 250 dollars on these air pods pro . The other thing that upsets me is that this extra accessory won’t even fit in the charging box , I will most likely have to remove it every time and figure out where to place them without loosing the rubber hooks 😒😡

Yeah dude, unfortunately, I had the same trouble. I used to have simple air pods and it was alright. They never fell out of my ear. But When I decided to make myself a present and ordered Air pods pro. I was so sad when I realized that every 10 meters of my walk one of them fall out of my ear. So as it was said in the thread earlier I found some ear tips of aliexpress for them. they are bigger and they don't fall at all. That is sad that Apple does not have bigger but original ones. Anyway, if you are going to do as I did, I suggest you use https://alitools.io/fr to find the best products there. China is known for its poor quality, so at least find the best offer. I was lucky with my choice.
