Apple in Lima, Peru

I know back in the day they did not have an Apple Store but I feel like I went to a mall there (can't remember the name right now but it had 2 floors and was outdoors) and they had an Apple store. I need to get my iPhone repaired. Does anyone know if this store is an actual Apple store where they can checkout my phone. Sounds cheesy but I don't want to take it to an "Authorised Dealer" and I just got off the phone with Tech Support and they told me to take it in. :-(
