Keyboard will not come up on our ipad

Keyboard will not come up on ipad. When I turn my iPad on today and went to use it first went to Internet and when I hit on the search and the keyboard will not pop up on the bottom for me to type. I even went to Pinterest and research and still the keyboard will not pop up for me to type. I used it last night with no problem. I cannot figure out what happened. If it button got hit or what is going on. Please help me. This is what I’m getting on the bottom of my screen. I sent two screens I only see one popping up.
