Delete search history from MAP app

Nov 2019: I recently downloaded the iOS update onto my iPhone 7. One of the

changes I noticed was in the MAP app. All of my recent location searches using

the Map app were now listed in a section titled “Siri Suggestions”.

I know that I can go to the MAP app settings > go to Siri & Search > and if I

turn the toggle switches for “Show Siri Suggestions in App” and “Show Siri

Suggestions” to the “off” position it will hide the Siri Suggestions. But If I

turn those same switches back to the “on” position, and updated list of Siri

Suggestions is displayed.

Question: How do you delete the search history—not just

hide the display?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you want to remove the location history from Siri Suggestions. I'll do what I can to help.

You would need to turn off Location-Based Suggestions in ettings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services. You can learn more and other steps to take here: Siri Suggestions, Search & Privacy
