I lost the case and one AirPod in the case, I have one AirPod. Could I locate just the case?

Can I track just the case, or the AirPod in the case? I called apple support and they said the find my iPhone app thinks the one AirPod you have is the one lost, I lost the case with one AirPod in it could I track the AirPod or the case?

Hello,

If the case is closed, "Find My" will not help. You'll just have to look for it based on its last location:

If your AirPods are lost - Apple Support
