My wife recently upgraded her I phone. I took her old phone as mine and now some of her text messages will show up on my phone even though was not on her text. Also does same when I text someone but not all text. We each will see the reply from a single text sent to one person.
That's because you're sharing an Apple ID / iCloud account. Don't do that.
